Qur'an Memorisation

هو أصل ما قام عليه المركز. يبدأ الطالب بقصار السور، ثم يمضي على قدر طاقته حتى يتمّ القرآن. وله في كل يوم حفظ جديد ومراجعة لما مضى، وتُصحَّح تلاوته على معلّمته وجهًا لوجه، فلا يُترك على خطأ يعتاده. وقد جُعل الحفظ محطاتٍ معلومة يُعرف بها موضع الطالب من الطريق.

This is the foundation on which the centre was built. A student begins with the short chapters and proceeds at their own capacity until the Qur'an is complete. Each day brings new memorisation and revision of what has passed, and recitation is corrected with the teacher face to face, so that no student is left with an error they grow used to. Memorisation is set out in defined milestones by which a student's place on the road is known.

Basic Islamic Teachings

ما لا يسع الطفل جهله: أركان الإيمان والإسلام، والطهارة والصلاة، وطرف من سيرة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وآداب المعاملة مع الوالدين والجيران والأقران. والدرس فيه قريب من أفهامهم، يُساق مساق القصة لا مساق التلقين.

What a child cannot afford to be ignorant of: the pillars of faith and Islam, purification and prayer, something of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the manners of dealing with parents, neighbours and peers. The teaching is pitched to their understanding and told as narrative rather than dictated for repetition.

الشريعة المتوسطة

Intermediate Sharia

لمن جاوز المرحلة التأسيسية وأنس من نفسه قدرة على الطلب. يتناول مبادئ الفقه وأصوله، وفقه العبادات وطرفًا من المعاملات، ومدخلًا إلى علوم الحديث والتفسير يهيّئ الطالب لما بعد هذه المرحلة.

For those past the foundation stage who find in themselves an aptitude for study. It covers the principles of fiqh and its roots, the fiqh of worship and something of transactions, and an introduction to the sciences of hadith and tafsir that prepares a student for what lies beyond this stage.

قراءة وكتابة وإملاء ومحادثة، ثم النحو والصرف على قدر المرحلة. والقصد أن يقرأ الطالب القرآن فيفهم ما يقرأ لا أن يردّده على غير فهم، وأن يُحسن التعبير عن نفسه بالعربية كتابةً ومشافهة.

Reading, writing, dictation and conversation, then grammar and morphology according to the stage. The purpose is that a student reads the Qur'an and understands what they read rather than repeating it without comprehension, and that they can express themselves in Arabic in writing and in speech.
